Server - Dual LGA C602 Intel Board - Xeon Ev2 - 16Gb RAM
Selling my Server - bought this around 4 months ago with the intention of using it as an ESXi host. In the end I never got round to it and it's just been gathering dust, so, I'm reluctantly selling. The server does not post, it powers on for a second or so and then powers down - and so sadly I have to sell this as 'For spares / repair'. I spent a while trying to diagnose the problem, but I honestly don't have the time to invest properly finding the part. I reset the CMOS and got the board to give out a diagnostic set of bleeps which when checked on the Intel website mean: Power fault - Diagnostic bleep code indicates "DC power unexpectedly lost (power good dropout) - Power unit sensors report power unit failure offset." Based on this - to me it sounds like the PSU is faulty, I don't have a spare to test this though. I managed to validate that the CPU is working and is not the issue. Only other issue is that two of the clips for the RAM Slots has been removed to cater for a potential GPU to be fitted - I've tried and the slot still holds the stick of RAM in place, without the clip. (this can be seen in pictures) Specs are as follows: Intel® Server Board SCP2 - Dual proc LGA/C x Xeon Ev2 - 6 core - 12 thread 16Gb ECC Memory. 600 Watt bronze rated PSU Case with 4 hot-swappable HD Bays & caddies. If you have any questions please ask away - I'll be as honest as possible if you want a more pictures or a video of the diagnostic beeps or anything, let me know. Collection from East London as this weighs a serious amount with the case. Thanks. Ad ID: Delivery Service Consumer Credit
