The result of extensive research & testing to find the elusive 'pure lambswool pad that has all the density & softness of Merino Lambswool but can withstand the trials of regular washing and daily wear'. The combination of fine WoolMark accredited Australian Merino wool and beautifully engineered fabrics put these Merino+ pads in a class of their own- naturally conceived technically achieved Many issues experienced with real lambskin pads are associated with the skin getting hard and brittle. With the new Merino+ pads the lambswool has been removed from its skin and integrated with a unique backing fabric that can expand & contract, whilst retaining its inbuilt strength. The fabric aids wicking & moisture control, each fibre holding up to 30% its weight, keeping the surface of the back cool & dry. Temperature variations are also minimised. The density and consistent depth of the Merino+ wool means it offers a perfect fit. Its dynamic nature also means it moves and remoulds to the horse's shape without too much bulk. Griffin Nuumed Hi Wither numnah, GP cut in navy quilt with half wool lining in cream. Size Large. Heavier weight quilt than their everyday numnah, giving good protection especially with the half wool lining. Wool has the ability to absorb up to 30% of its own weight in moisture before feeling damp allowing you to keep your horse dry & comfortable. This numnah is used but in very good condition. It has always been washed and cared for using the Nuuwash laundry liquid which has kept the lining in good condition. Its clean and ready to use. Please note that the wool by its nature has trapped horse hairs in the pile. I have brushed, shaken it, washed it and even vacuumed it and it is impossible to remove all of the chestnut hairs. This is a Griffin Nuumed close contact half wool saddlecloth. It is white with cream wool lining and is size XL (used on 17" and 18" saddles - Nuumed sizing is not particularly generous). It is in good used condition, but does have some slight staining where the girth straps have been. This is not visible when on the horse as girth straps will cover it. Other than that is in very good condition as can be seen by photos.
