Another one ill be sorry to let go... My Gibson SG Standard in classic cherry... first off I have to say... this guitar is immaculate with only 2 incredibly minor blemishes that you can hardly see (please see photo's - 1 on the very corner of the headstock... almost nothing, and 2nd on the lower part of the body, again almost nothing, but i'd like to be honest about these things) The guitar was built in April in Gibsons Nashville plant. and seeing as it's nearly 20 years old you really wouldn't believe it! It's in amazing condition...easily a 9.5. It comes complete with the hard case as seen and one of the original sales tags from Rosetti (former gibson UK distributer) from the original store in Cardiff. Being completely honest I've hardly played it... less than an hour in all the time I've owned it, which in itself is sacrilege, I've just been too afraid to put a mark on it! So it really needs to go to a good home and someone who is going to play it. This is a really good example of how the guitars from Gibson back then tend to be superior to the ones they produce today (and I say this as a Gibson fan) but the evidence is here... It has a one piece neck, and a one piece body. Very very rare to come by! You're more than welcome to come and try it out in my studio. I will throw in a new set of 10 gauge strings for you. I'm willing to travel unto 25 miles to meet you / deliver the guitar. Reason for sale is I'm getting rid of a lot of my guitars, effect pedals and amps because I've run out of room in my studio and need to down size in terms of equipment, and with this not being played at all I cannot justify keeping it just to take up space. Not a brand new guitar if your into that sort of thing. But looked after. Replaced the Gibson PCB board that contains the pots with new pots and upgraded toggle switch and traditional wiring scheme. Gibson SG Standard Fantastic condition. No dings or scratches. Light buckle rash is the only real sign of use. I have owned this guitar from new. It has been played very little over the first year of ownership and since then has been kept in the case unplayed. Earlier this year it had a professional cleanup, setup and restring. Never gigged or been to a rehearsal. Home use only. Comes with the original case and paperwork. It will be hard to see this guitar go but I have my eye on something else. No trades. Collection only.
