Leafy is looking for a new home! Could you help? Picks up all feet no problem, great for farrier, easy to groom and tack up. Just needs a rider the right size (we are all too big). Comes with saddle and bridle and lightweight turnout rug. He lives outside just fine, with a rug when it is zero or below. Likes company so should be kept with others. Good doer, comes to call, friendly little guy. Reason for sale is because we have a very young daughter and he is not 100% to be handled by such a young child. It's nothing an older child couldn't deal with, but she is too little. He can get a little bargy around food and if he wants all the cuddles. He has done a little bunny hop under saddle once, but other than that, this is a great little pony for someone to have lots of fun with. He is not spooky or nervous at all and is easy to ride, lunge etc. He has been in only light work for the last two months, as has no suitable rider to be doing any hard work with. Welsh Sec B Gelding 12.5h

Leafy is a handsome and healthy 14 year old Welsh Sec B, 12.5h Gelding, who currently lives rugged, outside in paddocks with another Gelding. Leafy is barefoot. We bought Leafy recently from a local riding school, for our young daughter to ride. He is a rather nervous pony, and is sometimes head shy when you go to stroke him, though he always comes to greet you. Unfortunately this nervousness makes him a little too unpredictable for a small child to handle him safely, so he is not a 100% fit for us. He can also be a bit unpredictable around food, as he is quite adamant that all food is his! During grazing he has bucked at us on our approach. Again, not really suitable for a little girl. He can be really sweet, and we think he would make someone older and more confident, a great pony. He has a lovely walk and trot under saddle. HIs canter is lovely too, though we have only cantered him on the ground (due to inexperience). He just needs more time spent with him to grow in his confidence. He saddles and bridles without a hitch and is responsive to verbal commands on the ground and under saddle. He has gently bucked a couple of times under saddle, which probably needs some work. He picks up his feet and grooms no problem. Leafy comes with saddle and bridle and a lightweight turnout rug.
