Excellent lead rein / second ridden pony for sale - 12.1hh

We have owned Milly for the past 18 months and during that time she has been a wonderful lead rein pony, taking part in rallies, pc camp, shows, fancy dress classes etc, and has given her young jockey lots of fun, and the confidence to progress to the next stage. She is great in traffic, to load, shoe, catch etc., is snaffle mouthed, happily pops a course of jumps and can be turned out alone and in company, but she isn't a first ridden as she can be cheeky off the lead rein. However she would make an excellent second pony for an older, more competent jockey. We're now looking for a new loving home for her, where she can give another child as much fun as she's given us. Fantastic Lead rein/2nd Pony 12.1hh For Sale in Bridgwater

This is a sad sale of our much loved pony. Mitzi has taught my daughter to ride having started as a lead rein off my TB, then hacking without easily and safely independently. She has won many ribbons in local shows for showing (lead rein and off) and showjumping up to 80cm. Mitzi has also successfully completed mini XC and loves to run ! Professionally schooled by lightweight adult and really shows her stride and paces potential, so she would also be ideal confidence giver to the right adult. Would do Walk & Trot tests quite happily. Snaffle mouthed, perfect to shoe, tie up and groom, clip, loads easily with a bucket...... lives out with other mares but happy in stable also. Dentist and vaccinations all up to date, no vices Loves a fuss, fantastic with children, dogs etc. Lives on a farm environment so fine with pigs, tractors...... I have indicated that Mitzi would be ideal as a Lead Rein OR a 2nd ridden. This is because she can be lazy so may need a stronger jockey to get the best out of her at shows. However, as a hack/family pony, she is perfect. She strides out beautifully and keeps up with the bigger horses very easily. Very pretty with good movement, Show Ring beckons.... Homes will be vetted as this is a much loved pony. Absolutely NO timewasters.

FOR SALE Bay Mare 122cm Top Class Lead Rein Pony Age 6 Years

Sadly for sale due to new baby and lack of interest, top class lead rein show pony, this pony has only been lightly shown by me due to lack of time and interest from my children, I now have a new baby on the way and she is completely going to waste. With her previous owners she was shown to a high standard and in her 1st season in was 4th at Royal Windsor Show and also qualified for the RIHS. Totally home produced she is easy to do in every way and has safely carried both my 7year old (now out grown) and my 5 year old into busy showing rings for the last 2 years with no calmers, ear plugs and hardly any working in. This year we did two shows with her where she won and was placed 3rd. 11hh welsh section A pony club lead rein pony

Our beloved pony Barney is sadly up for sale after 7 great years. All my children have ridden him from being toddlers and he has been their first pony so this is such a sad sale. He enjoys being worked and will whinny when he sees you bringing tack so it's unfair on him to be left without a job. I am advertising him as a lead rein pony as this is what he prefers in a schooling situation as he can be nappy without his leader in the arena and he much prefers having mum or dad to walk beside or even run in front. He will hack out perfectly off the lead and goes off your voice. He has been ridden around hopton x country off the lead and on the farnley ride and Escrick park. He will jump small jumps and has got a good jump but it's not something he enjoys. He is just ridden now and then at the moment but he is exactly the same ride how ever long he is left. Barney has been involved with all pony club activities including mounted games, mini camp, mini cross country, lessons and jumping with my daughter from being age 5. He has competed on the mini mounted games for 2 seasons on the lead and did wetherby weekend this year off the lead in the junior team and did great. Totally unfazed with a busy environment and does not get silly or excitable, he's very happy to stand on the line and just wait his turn and knows the equipment. When at shows he just stands patiently and nods off. He will ride and lead and is responsive to voice commands which is great for teaching little ones to canter on the lead. A shout of whoa quickly brings him back to walk! We've stayed away at shows and he is happy to be corralled in an pen and will not stress if left on his own, he just enjoys being out and having a job to do. He can be a bit grumpy to handle and will pull the odd face. He will live out with a shelter or come in at night and he is happy with both. He is very clean in the stable and will poo in a bucket at the back! He can be left for weeks and then ridden and he is exactly the same, just steady away. this is my sweet little blue, his is older than most but please dont let that put you off as this little fella does not act it at all, he 23 years young, he does how ever have a little arthritis in his legs which is ok as long as he isnt left out over the winter, a little devils claw does the trick if he gets a little stiff, other wise a happy go lucky pony will come with rugs, he loads good with farrier in and out of stable, he is free to a 5* home which will be vetted, all i ask is a donation for the welsh horse and pony rehoming charity as he was a rescue him self, he is passported but not chipped, ive put him as a mountain and moreland but passport says he is an spot, not sure where they got that from but that is what it says, this is hard for me but i just can not keep him any more due to ill health, so if you could offer by boy a forever home please contact me please no time wasters

We've had this little treasure and in our time have done countless shows pony club and rallies, sponsored rides and many hacks alone and in company. She is intelligent and not spooky. My little girls lead her and pick out her little feet. She loads beautifully onto our trailer every time.
