We've had this little treasure and in our time have done countless shows pony club and rallies, sponsored rides and many hacks alone and in company. She is intelligent and not spooky. My little girls lead her and pick out her little feet. She loads beautifully onto our trailer every time. Although she's mainly done lead rein with us i have ridden her and she'll make a fantastic older child's pony and has a fantastic jump and hacks alone keenly. She's 6 years old and we do not want her going to novice people as she is learning of course. She has a full wardrobe if needed and we have transport if you'd like her delivered. Child’s Pony / Lead Rein Pony

Rose is 11hh 16 year old mare. Leadrein/first ridden/second pony She has been used for mainly hacking around the lanes and bridleways, local shows, been boxed to the woods for hacks out, she’s done a river ride with previous owner and recently seen mounted games / gymkana equipment up at a friends yard which she seemed to enjoy and took it all in her stride. She will hack alone and in company, also good in the school and a good little jumper too! But will also trot over poles and tiny jumps with a little one onboard! She’s mainly ridden now by a 5 year old who wants to be off the lead rein now which is fine as Rose will just follow you along, she’s not a typical kick along pony so is quite forward going you give a little kick and she will go up into trot, even if they are at the stage of still holding the saddle whilst trotting if they use they voice and just say walk, Rose will walk!! When the older children (who now have lost interest) ride she will happily hack out with me on my horse and even if they want to do a shorter ride than me she will happily leave mine and go back alone. She can be handled by children. Good to load, travel and good with the farrier. Rose will stand for hours being groomed and played with, children can walk her up to the mounting block and mount on their own, do round the world, lay along her, slide off her side, she really doesn’t mind what they do! Rose does have mild sweetitch but this is controlled by wearing a fly rug (a £15 one does the trick so doesn’t need anything expensive)! Read More

Poppy is an 11hh unregistered Welsh sec A 12 years old. Poppy is a fantastic all round pony club lead rein pony. She loves a fuss and is extremely loveable. My 5yr old picks her feet out and can bath her. She has taken part in all PC activities and brought home plenty of rosettes. She loves her jumping and doesn't bat an eye at any fillers. She has taken part in games practices and not phased by any of the equipment. Poppy never grabs down for grass and hacks out alone or in company and is not spooky. She isn't bothered by traffic and is used to farm traffic and animals. She will happily walk through streams and water. Poppy will live in or out with mares or geldings. She is up to date with vaccinations, teeth and worming and is fine with the vet but does need sedation for teeth. She will stand for the farrier (unshod) is fine to clip but I haven't ever pulled her mane so not sure about that!!! Poppy had one mild bout of laminitis this year but no veterinary attention was needed (pulses raised but no lameness) She will load no problem in a trailer or wagon and happily stand all day. Poppy does go off lead but is being sold as a lead rein pony as she has bolted with my daughter. She is a forward going pony when in full work and although she has been excellent most of the time she has bolted twice now in the 10 months we have had her. She may be fine with a stronger rider but my daughter is off lead rein and I now need one I can trust not to be strong or bolt off lead rein.
