Excellent condition Lavinia Mitchell Black Dressage / VSD Saddle This is a bespoke saddle made for me by Lavinia Mitchell. I wanted a saddle that was between a VSD and a Dressage Saddle. It has slightly curved saddle flaps of the VSD, with the deep seat of the dressage and long girth straps of the dressage. I will be selling with two sets of knee blocks, large dressage knee blocks as show in the pictures and smaller VSD knee blocks which I can send pictures if required. The saddle is a 17.5" and a size 2 in LM saddles or fits like a M/W in conventional fitting. I have shown two pictures for the measurements on the width, one to show the width between the D rings and one to show the width between the panels. The saddle was reflocked by a Master Saddler in June and only been used a handful of times since this was done. Read More

Black Lavinia Mitchell Dressage Saddle 17.5 Wide 3W Saddle was new in . Only been fitted by Lavinia Mitchell fitters. Serial number is on both stirrup bars. But I can only read start - BS ???? M (It is definitely not medium width is 3 wide as stamped on flap) Lovely wide saddle with wide weight bearing panels and supportive knee rolls. Secure and comfortable. Some wear to cantle (see photo that shows cosmetic scratches on one side of cantle), small scratches on pommel (see photo) and wear on flaps. All cosmetic. Lavinia Mitchell 17.5" event saddle - size 2

*PRICE REDUCED* LM event saddle in brown. Size 2 (gullet width 6"-see pic)Saddle is 7-8 years old and so shows usual signs of wear & tear but has been looked after and regularly checked - it was checked/reflocked in March this year. Couple of things to note (that I've tried to show on the pictures) and reflected in the asking price:- Has a couple of scuffs on the cantle. The stitching is coming away slightly where the top of the knee roll joins the panel & also underneath the pommel just under the blue LM button (both on the left hand side) But all hardly noticeable and don't affect the wear of the saddle. Really comfy saddle and only now for sale as doesn't fit current horse. Happy to answer any questions or send more pictures. Really lovely saddle that has been well kept, still has the original paper sticky identification label. Only for sale as doesn't fit my new horse and has not been used for the last 6 months. Also included Griffin Numed Lavinia Mitchell brown cotton numnah which has memory foam inside. Comes with full set of shims so you can alter your saddle fit as the horse changes shape.
