Pair of Sun Conures

Hi, I bought this pair of Sun conures just over a year ago from a bird group on fb, i was told they are hand tame pets. The male is quite tame and talks at times, loves attention and likes to sit on your arm or shoulder. But he does get very protective over the female. The female is not tame at all, in fact i think someone took an aviary bird and paired her with a very tame male. This male does tend to be mean at times due to protecting the female. They can also get quite noisey. My reason for now having to sell them is no fault of theirs but my husband is in and out of hospital having operations for his kidneys and i feel i am neglecting them to what time i usually spend with them. They love having someone around alot. The male loves being out of the cage but the female likes to stay in there. Maybe in time the female will also be able to be tamed but i cannot continue the trying while my husband is constantly in hospital. The information i got when i bought was just they belonged to an old lady who died and a friend was selling for the family of the lady. That is all i know about them. I wanted to give them a forever home but my time is less and less as of my husband situation. The cage is as i got it and it was in need of some attention, ive added toys and things they didnt have,so they do have this cage and all the things ive added in the price and im only asking what ive paid not what ive paid in more things since.
