Had this up for sale a few months ago, then decided to keep it but have now lost my storage so it really must go. As you can tell, this isn't really what I want to do, but I now work as a Dinghy Instructor so I have no real use of a personal boat. The hull is old but in good condition, most importantly with a SOUND MAST STEP with no previous repairs. Most other parts are much more recent. Good rudder and stock, aluminium tiller and extension, reasonable dagger board, good Rooster radial sail (always stored rolled in its bag), boom and 2 piece mast, battens, all ropes and sheets, brand new toestrap fitted this morning, windex, very good metal launching trolley and an old but still just about waterproof cover. I have upgraded the boat by bringing the outhaul and downhaul controls onto the deck for easy adjustment on the water (a home-made xd kit). The kicker has high purchase and is easy to adjust on the water. Has been raced at club level and is still a fast and competitive boat. I have owned this since I was 13 and have learned to sail it, so am hoping it goes to a good home. Would be a perfect first boat, or a cheap way into club level racing. Viewing welcome at my home. Laser Radial Sailing Dinghy

Laser Radial, Hull and basic components bought second hand in , made major upgrades and overhaul of control lines but have only used 6/7 times as studies and other commitments kicked in. Upgrades spent come in at over £ and like I have said have only used a handful of times and seems a waste to leave it sitting in my yard. Even if this was purchased to strip for its components to be used on other boats - This is a major saving as all upgrades are basically brand new. Overall Description: Radial replica sail used 6/7 times, full and Radial rig bottom mast sections with conventional top section, full XD vang, outhaul, downhaul, toe straps, main sheets and deck blocks. New launching trolly used 6/7 times and cover bought at the same time but spent it's life outside so it is worn. Hull is older as this was a renovation project. Slight paint chipping along the transom but hull remains water tight and I've never had issues with emptying it out. Original sail number with the hull was ; this has been put onto the new Radial sail. Rudder is believed to be original, dagger board was replaced by previous owner before it came into my possession so not as new as all the other upgrades but no visible damage. Rooster sail and foils bag included, purchased with upgrades also used 6/7 times. PRICE REDUCED! Have owned this laser for 5 years but have lost storage now so must go. I am an RYA instructor so you can rest assured the boat has been properly looked after and not abused like many older dinghies! Hull is in fab condition for age. Scratches on the underside as would be expected, but still a smooth, quick hull. Crucially the mast step is not worn and has not been bodged back together in the past - it is just as it came out the factory! There are no soft spots on the deck, no signs of delamination etc. It may be 40-odd years old but no reason it wouldn't do another 40 quite happily. In terms of rigging everything is much newer than the hull. Decent quality rooster radial sail with battens, always kept rolled and bagged. Spars all straight and foils in generally good condition. I have modified the rig so that the outhaul and downhaul come down to the deck for easy adjustment on the water (a home-made XD kit). Perfectly legal for racing. Kicker has high purchase so again ideal for racing. I have raced it and it has proven itself as a very quick boat. Any questions do not hesitate to ask. Also includes wishbone spar racks. These are perfect for moving the boat or just packing the spars. A dinghy cover is included. This is only 2 years old. There is also the necessary launching trolley, and a road trailer that has been modified to carry the Laser dinghy. Hull is watertight and has suffered no damage, but the deck needs attention and some work. The car key in the last photo will give you an indication of the scale of repair, and this boat should not be sailed until necessary repairs are done. Laser Pico This is a great little sailing dinghy that is brilliant to learn in or have fun in. The boat comes with a galvanised launching trolley and a road trolley with rollers. There is one set of sails (a slightly older main that has been professionally patched and a much new jib). Both the dagger board and rudder are in good condition. The hull is clean.
