*REDUCED - BARGAIN PRICE - NEED THE SPACE!* Large Vintage Road Sign, A698 Berwick. Near Scottish Border, With interesting provenance. The vendor I bought it from told me it came from Norham Station Museum (Norham Station lies about 1 mile south of the village of Norham, a Border village lying on the south bank of the River Tweed which denotes the Border between England and Scotland) where it was one of their exhibits, they acquired it, I was told, when the signs were updated. The owners of the station, which is just off the A698, apparently sold off a lot of the exhibits when the museum closed a few years ago. Presumably the sign originally sat on the junction of the B and A698, or thereabouts, which would be about the advertised distance to Berwick. Measures approx: 43" x 7" and I would estimate it weighs somewhere around 15kgs but that is just a rough guess. Condition is as can be seen in the images, overall it's in good order. there is a small chip to the bottom corner, below the mileage, as can be seen in the second last image. Other than that it shows age related wear. More than welcome to a "no obligation" look to check it over before purchase. Now only £85. A Pair of Vintage Retro ’s Cinema Seats & Provenance

A Pair of Vintage Retro ’s Cinema Seats & Provenance Over 50 Seats Available, So Can Make Any Length Wanted. A pair of original vintage or retro ’s cinema seats, with painted metal ends and full history. The seats are formed with each seat having a curved back, which is upholstered and padded in grey velvet with a kind of tartan pattern on it. The bases all fold down and are also sprung and deeply padded in the same velvet, the bases have the seat number fitted so they can be picked by the buyer to what I have. Each chair then has a painted metal arm structure, which has a padded arm rest. All the cast sections have been painted in black at some point which has now aged and now has paint chips and marks which adds to there character. The seats can be easily adjusted to be made into different lengths and for ease of moving. The chairs were originally fitted into the Cinema in Porthmadog Wales, which has been a cinema, bingo hall and theatre but now has sadly closed down and is going to be redeveloped. These seats can be made into any-size you want as i have a large quantity of them. These are real classy looking and very very comfy still after all these years, a real piece of cinema history. They easily split down into sections for ease of moving. There are Approx 20 rows of seats available. These need screwing to the floor, but do come with the screws to do this. Condition The condition of the seats are very good due to age and useage. They have light ware marks to the material but overall they are all in good condition for age. There are chips to the paint work, which i believe gives them character. They come with the screws to screw them together and to screw to the ground. Read More
