This is a lovely large vintage mahogany desk by Abbess I made a donation to a church in Newcastle in return for the desk and am gutted to find it doesn't fit up our terrace house stairs! I paid a lot for the desk in July . I'd be happy to take less than what it is on offer for, if you want to collect it soon - it takes up a lot of space in our kitchen! Solid mahogany and quality veneer construction throughout Two dovetail jointed drawers to left hand side One on the right hand side being a double size file drawer Good quality construction with a beautiful grain Stands on thick solid mahogany legs In lovely original condition. Wear and tear, bumps and bruises concurrent with age and with our failed attempts to get the desk upstairs(!) but please see photo's - it is in good condition. Large Abbess A205 solicitor’s desk. Approximate measurements 86” wide, 42” deep, 30” tall. This has an unusual locking mechanism and a slide out for the other side that we haven’t managed to put together correctly and requires either deactivating (easily done) or someone with more experience to get it right!
