Click here to view this lot Beautiful angel made of zamac (zinc alloy) from the end of the 19th century. The angel has a hole on the side - see photo - because it was presumably attached to a clock. I am told that the clock was once on the chimney of my great grandparents; hands/fingers/toes, feet and face are all in good condition. The length is 54 cm and the weigh is 7.5 kg. The Angel, which can stand independently (but I'd still give it support), will come into its own in a room, on the balcony or in a garden. This is a lovely example of uranium glass in the form of a large spirit barrel. The barrel has its original tap (no stopper). No cracks, chips, scratches or other damage. It measures (approx.) 18.5cm long (excluding the tap) and cm wide (difficult to be precise with the round shape!). Sold as seen. My location is 20 mins from the Edinburgh City Bypass & 25 mins from the M74 J13 (cash on collection).
