Simba is a gorgeous 1-2 year old medium sized Crossbreed with plenty of energy! Simba is really friendly with everyone he meets, and is a real softie. He can be a bit bouncy at times, so would be best in a home with children over 12. He knows a few commands already, and is a very clever boy who would love to learn more! He does need some more general socialisation and confidence building, as some things do spook him, which he lets you know by giving off a woof! Simba is good with dogs once he has met them, and is desperate to play! However, on his walks, he gets very over excited/frustrated when he sees another dog, and barks/jumps around/pulls towards them – he needs a lot of help greeting dogs nicely when he’s on lead. He may have had a bad experience with another dog in the past when he’s been on lead. He is such a young, clever lad, that with the right positive training, he will come on quickly – the kennel environment is not helping him at all either. He walks nicely on the lead otherwise. He tries to stay clean in his kennel, which would suggest he’s housetrained, and he should be fine to be left for a few hours once settled into his new home.
