Roman style chess set and board

A very distinctive Roman style chess set and board. The board is approx. 18'' X 18'' and the King stands at approx 5'' high. Because I am an honest chap, I will tell you that one of each pawn has had a head transplant, this was due to two heads having been removed and lost, but I have spent a lot of time and effort affording a sympathetic repair, and now the two headless pieces have heads again, and they do not look like they should be on something else either. Because this set has been around for quite some time and included in many house moves, the board has also sustained some slight damage along the way, but again has been sympathetically repaired.
