Hi, I am looking for a large set of wooden shelves or kitchen dresser top to go in my farmhouse kitchen. They must be at least 150cm by 150cm with three shelves. The shelves must be at least 20cm deep. I am also looking for a large wall mounted wooden double slotted plate rack (not the display type) that at minimum will take a 6 place serving set. Smallbone of Devises beautiful large cherrywood dresser sideboard -suit kitchen or dining room

I bought this unit online from a Smallbone auction of ex display furniture and had it shipped home. It is an absolutely stunning, all in solid hardwood,comprising a base and top unit with an art deco feel. Unfortunately I found that because of the tremendous weight of the base unit I can't actually get it into my house (after getting it in through the front door it would need upending to manoeuvre into the dining room, but it takes at least 4 strong men to lift the unit and there is just not anywhere enough room in my lobby for the unit plus a small army). Both base and top are breakfront. The base has 3 drawers and 2 cupboards. The top drawers are fully fitted. The top has 3 sections. All cupboards have mirrored backs and internal lights. You would need to buy the glass shelves. The top should have had doors but they were missing which wasn't an issue as far as I was concerned - I was happy with open shelves. When offloading the base unit we knocked some pieces of trim off, which will need reinstating. There are 3 pieces of trim missing (see photos) so a joiner will have to make replacement trims. The units are mm wide. The base is 810mm high and the top is mm high. The price reflects the fact that the unit will need the attention of a good joiner to do the repairs. Conservatively I would estimate the cost of the unit new from Smallbone to be around £ (but willing to be contradicted by someone who owns a Smallbone kitchen). I am getting a similar set of units made in painted softwood and it's costing a tad over £. Selling for only £600 ono. Viewing by appointment in Bynea, Llanelli. Consists of two pieces, the lower an mdf carcass, with two oak-fronted drawers and cupboards and a solid oak worktop; the upper is a two-door cupboard, with two moveable shelves, cream interior, again an mdf carcass, but doors are of oak and have been glazed and leaded in a pleasing style. There is a removable pelmet. The units are not fixed together but could be made to do so. They were formerly attached to a solid wall, so have some paint residue on the rear edges.
