This Scarpa walking shoe is lightweight, comfortable, waterproof and breathable. It is also a classic design. It has a nubuck upper and Gore-Tex lining, which meant that my feet stayed comfortable and dry. The Vibram Energy sole gave me plenty of traction in a wide range of conditions. They are very versatile; I found them ideal for exploring towns, in museums and galleries and on stony trails. I bought them for a trip to Croatia last summer and now that I’m using ‘winter’ socks I’m finding them a little bit too small, so I have reluctantly decided to sell them, even though they are hardly used!
