In I closed with Les Humanoïs Associés a contract to the Franka-series in French. I had big plans with that breakthrough: new colors, new for plates and I would all the stories finish as I they ever conceived, so without the length limitation of up to 48 pages.Also all those adjustments I finally implemented (though it ran in France threatened to go bankrupt because les HuMo's otherwise and I retract the contract.) eventually published three albums. The third of the four new covers that I signed was for cut-throat competition, with the beautiful French title find Victime de la Mode.At each faceplate I delivered a handpainted full color preview. But les HuMo's requested to stay further in the style of their catalog if they were allowed to let what else covers colorize: they came with some darker hues "painted" in digital wipe effect as if a hard dry brush is used. If you're in with surreptitious advertising "the youth" wanted to achieve was the strip the medium. So Martin Lodewijk, Uco Egmond, Peter de Smet and Henk Kuijpers each signed a 10-page story "against smoking".
