If you're in with surreptitious advertising "the youth" wanted to achieve was the strip the medium. So Martin Lodewijk, Uco Egmond, Peter de Smet and Henk Kuijpers each signed a 10-page story "against smoking". When the strip In Veronica would end is because a long-running sequel strip was illogical for a sheet with abonnnees less fixed and more loose buyers, I have all sorts of other publication maker thought. For this screen printing ikeind had to to a bare building site at the zuidas, there stood the just completed largest building in Amsterdam, the Arena, and a brand new editor-Tower (design Cees Dam) which the illustrated Press had just built for all editors who with their content the presses had to keep turning, Further satisfied was still there.To the empty cluttered decor to bring back to the essence I chose a mirror. There crosses the users of the square each other: the Ajax supporters on the way to the Arena, the newsrooms in procession on their way to new year's reception and the omnipresent property developers with their builders.
