Beautiful King sized waxed pine bed. Wooden slats with solid pine foot and Head boards We have owned the base from new for 15 years and for at least the last 10 it has been a spare bed for guests. In that time we have moved home numerous times so it has been dismantled and reassembled many times The slats all screw down to the sides so there are numerous screw holes. Nothing visible and it does not cause any issues - just to make you aware. Original cost was £500. The Millbrook mattress is only around 7 years old and as mentioned hardly used. We have had a bedroom move around at home and one of my daughters has now moved into what was the guest room and wanted to take her own bed! My wife agreed so I am a reluctant seller of this and numerous other pieces of furniture! Someone could end up with a bargain. If you wish to view I would need a little notice just to reassemble - we are between Chesterfield and Matlock. 15 Mins from the M1 Junction 28 or 29. I dismantled the bed yesterday and noticed a couple of nicks in the covering of the mattress. It is where the handles are and I think it is just due to the mattress being so heavy it has pulled.
