The bed is about 8 years old, bought for £650 and in good condition, has had a repair on the head side base so very sturdy. Also a repair on one of the slats which does not affect the quality and can be replaced. The mattress is a thick foam with a 10 inch memory foam topper all attached as one and is about 4 years old. This is a beautiful piece of furniture and is in excellent condition. It is made from solid wood (mahogany, I believe), is sturdy and is a king size bed frame (no mattress included). Suitable for a standard king size mattress size 150 cm x 200 cm. The bed is now in four large pieces, plus the wooden slats, for easy removal, and is very easy to assemble, with only four bolts to tighten. Everything else simply slots in securely.
