I'm selling my son's 24" Beinn mountain bike made by Islabikes. As you can see from the photos it is still like new, in the fantastic blue colour. It has hardly been used and will make a brilliant Christmas present for you child. My son has suddenly grown too big for it, we should really have bought the next size up, so now I need to sell it to buy that one:-(If you've never heard of Islabikes, they are a company dedicated to building amazingly light bikes for children. They recognise that a heavy bike for a child has a massive impact on its usability because a small weight increase can be a large percentage of the child's weight. However, they also realise that it is no good fitting a bike with components designed for an adult! So they adopt the approach of using properly scaled, light components. They understand that having a good 8-speed rear derailleur is better for children rather than going for "gear envy" when 99 out of 100 children won't be able to use a front one. Islabikes Luath 24 kids' bike, red, excellent condition

This is a really good quality kids' road bike, suitable for age 8-11-ish, depending on the child's height. (Manufacturer recommends minimum inside leg of 59cm and max of 69cm.) Bought new in August , it's had light to moderate careful use and is in excellent condition, although the handlebar tape is slightly worn and could do with replacing. Everything else is in full working order and undamaged. It has 24-inch road tyres and is definitely built for speed. Frame is 14.5 inches. One of its best reatures is the light weight: 8.9kg. 7 gears, which are easy to use. Full spec can be found on the Islabikes website, by searching for the Luath 24. Islabikes are great for kids. Light and designed to get them riding distance early. Good working order and condition with the mudguards, usual wear you would expect. See more at the islabikes website. Much loved only selling due to moving on to a large will be good for a child 7+. I also have a 20" small for sale. I can't really tell the difference between the small and the large Listed seperately if you have twins or a 7 and 8 year old the pair would be perfect.
