Imperfections in the patterns and shape make this carpet unique and emphasize the authentic and traditional character. Keshan (or Kashan) lies just north of the centre of Iran. Keshan is one of the resting places along the Silk Road. Characteristic of a Keshan is a beautifully designed medallion, trees and figurative patterns. You also see Keshan's completely covered with floral patterns.
