Kennedy city unisex bicycle, ideal for cycling in London. The bike was £750 new. The bikes are handmade by a guy called James in a workshop in Hackney. He no longer makes the custom combination I have on this bike. Google kennedy city bicycles for more info. I've used for commuting to work for the past year. Some aesthetic wear and tear but rides beautifully. I'm selling because unfortunately I no longer need it to get to work. The bike is surprisingly light and very low maintenance. Needless to say, it is a great looking bike. It really is a bargain at this price. Drop me an email to arrange a viewing or if you have any further questions. ________________________________ Further specifications: Gears: The bike is a two-speed ("SRAM automatic 2 speed rear hub). The internal centrifugal clutch switches gear automatically between a low and a high gear at around the 9mph mark. This gives you an easier low gear and a higher top speed without the fidliness of normal gearing. (It is not a fixie). Frame size: Medium (56cm) - suitable for height 5'7 to 5'11 feet Frame colour: Black gloss (steel) Seat: Walnut leather. The seat post has a security bolt key which makes it much more difficult to steal. Handlebars: Walnut wrapped leather, bullhorn shape. Tyres: I replaced the original tyres with a more expensive pair (Schwalbe marathon plus), as I kept getting punctures. I have never had a puncture since. Wear & tear: some wear on the handlebars and the seat. The shape and performance of both are unaffected. Security: the bike is registered on BikeRegister, the UK national bike database.
