Jupiter JAS-500 Alto Saxophone and Music Books
Much loved but no longer used alto saxophone ideal for a beginner or intermediate (this saxophone took me to grade 5). Around 12 years old, still in very good condition; no scratches, marks or dents still makes a nice sound, although may need a good warm up when you buy as it hasn't been played for a couple of years. Included in the sale with the saxophone: - two new rico strength 2 reeds - two internal cleaning and external polishing cloth - pad cleaning papers - rubber mouthpiece protectors - books and sheet music - neckstrap - case (which has a large pocket at the front for music books and also two backpack type straps at the back so that the saxophone can be carried around easily) Current RRP is £870, I bought mine for approx £650. BOOKS I will include 6 book that cover a range of abilities from true beginner up to grade 6, most of which are still in good condition, plus some loose sheet music. Books include: - "Abracadabra Saxophone" (cover is loose and some annotations but a great book to learn the basics) - "What Else Can I Play? Alto Saxophone Grade 2" (famous and traditional songs grade 2 standard, includes piano accompaniment book) - "What Else Can I Play? Alto Saxophone Grade 4" (famous and traditional songs grade 4 standard, includes piano accompaniment book, very good condition) - "GuestSpot Christmas favourites" (10 christmas songs, appropriate for grades 4-6, very good condition, CD included) - "GuestSpot 20 Jazz Greats" (20 jazz classics, appropriate for grades 4-6, very good condition, CD included, although this book and the one above are a little more advanced they are useful for begginners as they have a useful finger chart) - "Take Ten, Popular Pieces from Bach to Bacharach" (good condition and includes piano accompaniment book, originally bought for exams although not sure if it is still part of the syllabus) - "Jazz Alto Sax grade 3 Tunes" (good condition, includes piano accompaniment book, simple guitar cords and CD, originally bought for exams although not sure if it is still part of the syllabus) Only tiny problem is the G# key can be a bit sticky if not used for a while although I sort this problem by storing it with a rizla paper under the pad (I can show you this and I will include some pad cleaning sheets and rizla papers). Otherwise it is a faultless saxophone. Read More
