This stool was originally designed for the bar, but it was later produced by BD, and was the first Mariscal design that was produced in series. The item, five lines joined together apparently randomly, seem to have got into a fight or had too much to drink, which is why it looks as if it has gone through a trance. Mariscal's extravagant ingenuity and acute sense of colour transformed a low-cost item that was easily manufactured into a distinctive, instantly identifiable stamp of new Spanish design. - See more at: http://www.mariscal.com/en/projects/122/duplex-stool#sthash.bVjlIwE0.dpuf Read More
