Beautiful large fumé pressed glass Art Deco vase with a frosted Olympic-rings relief.Origin Czechoslovakia / Bohemia and made by Josef Inwald. Inwald: Josef Inwald A.G. was an important manufacturer of glass, including pressed glass. Their main office was in Vienna, but they manufactured glass in various locations, mainly in Czechoslovakia / Bohemia.The vase is depicted in the catalogue of the French importer H. Markhbein (see attached photo). ART DECO s STUART CLEAR CUT CRYSTAL GLASS TRUMPET VASE

This is a RARE magnificent Art Deco s Stuart Clear Cut Crystal Glass Trumpet Vase of the highest quality by Ludwig Kny wth a square foot rising to a ball knop and conical body with a repeat mitre cut line. We’ve been advised this vase is of a very high standard with a superior quality crystal cut. There’s no cracks, chips or restoration with the glass being in an “as new” condition, which is amazing considering the age. The Stuart England mark is engraved into the glass and is just above the red marker sticker on the base, but isn’t visible in the photos. The vase weighs a hefty 1.25kg and is 18.5cm tall from the base to the top. A JOSEF LORENZL ART DECO COLD-PAINTED BRONZE FIGURE, C. , COLOURED ENAMELS BY CREJO, OYNX BASE

A similar object, albeit 9 cm taller, was sold by Christie's Auctioneers in London in for £. I originally intended to put this family piece on for £ and it was only when doing an internet search late one evening to see if this was perhaps too much that I came across the similar piece on Christie's site. The piece I have for sale is similarly signed by Crejo on the hem which hopefully shows up, somewhat, in the photo. Christie's will not auction off this piece because it is too small in scale and price for their operations which was understandable if a little disappointing. I'm particularly happy to sell to a dealer. Pamono would not accept the piece because they only buy from dealers. Nonetheless it's worth looking at their site for the background information on this Art Deco sculptor. I have put £ as a starting price
