Johnson Seahorse 7.5 hp longshaft. Bought this engine last year as back up for my boat, but never used it. Found it too heavy to lug about,so bought a Suzuki. Been sitting in garage for a year, but started first pull today when I tried it. Will need a service, as running a bit smokey,but went through gears ok.Usual scuffs and chips for an engine of its age,but worth a look.Mix is 50.1, but suspect a weaker mix would be better. Johnson 25hp seahorse s/s outboard motor

Up for sale is a 25 hp 2 stroke Johnson seahorse. It is a short shaft and on remotes. Comes with a huge fueltank. The engine came with a boat that I purchased but unfortunately the boat required a long shaft engine. We have had the engine serviced at Mitchell outboard services (Johnson specialist) and replaced just about everything with new. New oils, gaskets, seals, points, coils, plugs, pull cord you name it, it's been replaced. Full carb strip down clean and rebuild. Has got a new propeller that cost over £100.
