4HP Long shaft Suzuki DT4 2 stroke

I bought this wee engine as a non runner and have done a fair bit to it to get it running. This includes: New impeller (genuine suzuki) new spark plug (fitted by previous owner) new fuel filter new fuel shut off new kill switch drained and refilled gearbox oil(oil drianed looked clear, no sign of water) stripped and cleaned the carb and all fuel lines incl the tank The engine now does start, idle, go in and out of gears and stop. It has good compression (when working on it I compression tested it at 120psi) but I think the carb does still need attention as it seems to leak fuel if left for a while with the fuel turned on. The carb either needs set up correctly or may need a carb rebuild kit to have it perfect. A previous owner has painted the engine and leg black and not done a great job! This may have been intentional to prevent theft. I had started to strip the hood to paint it but lost interest in it due to having another outboard now which I've been using. I can show the engine running in a barrel, but what you see is what you get, it does run but is being sold as needing repairs due to the issues with the carb. I wouldn't head to sea with it as it is! 2 Johnson 4hp outboards. Dry stored in my garage for couple of years. 1 was running a few years ago but the other was just a donor for parts. Very reliable engine when I used it on a dinghy. Short shafts, 2 stroke & spin round for reverse. I've got a new engine now so clearing space. Selling as spares or repair as will probably need work to get running but you do have parts handy ! Cash on collection & have advertised else where. Getting rare now & parts in demand.

14ft Fishing Boat and 4hp 2 stroke outboard.

This is a 14 foot long GRP fishing boat with a 4hp 2 stroke outboard. The cover is new. There is a cover support set up which can be removed in sections if your are fishing alone and just want to uncover half way. It has a new Bimini cover for sun or showers. The Bimini can be removed very easily with four thumbscrews and folds down under the cover by releasing the two rear thumbscrews. There are a pair of oars and rowlocks. the motor is very economical. There are a pair of mud weights, one front and one back, rigged for lone operation. I use ballast at the front when I am fishing alone. The boat is in moorings at Coltishall and the mooring is available to rent from the owners should you want to keep it there and they are in agreement. A good area for Pike and general fishing without salt water ingress from tides. This is also a great chance to grab a mooring in such a great spot. The boat has 6 rod holder fittings and a pair of the rod holders. There are a mixture of fenders which also come with it. There is a trailer but currently requires some new pads. I'll be taking this out of the water around the end of the month and I don't know if after that the mooring will still be available. Reason for selling is that I have bought a bigger boat for the family. Great opportunity to get to the fish perhaps with one or two friends. Ad ID:
