John Birch Guitars  UK has global recognition for fine guitars and pickups, this new pickup set comprising of one Magnum 4 16K Ohms. 22 poles and CEM and one Hyperflux 5,  13K Ohms, 22 poles, CEM. The use of CEM technology (Cryogenically Enhanced Magnets), improves the dynamics without loss of tone, the multipole design increases sensitivity and sustain and when the Magnum 4 is installed at the bridge and the Hyperflux 5 at the neck it provides a superb combination, chrome or black  frames, delivers very good output, iconic vintage look,designed to bring the "Birmingham Soun d" to generic guitars at an affordable price. John Birch J1 Brown Burst This one is in virtually un-played condition, when I acquired it I had to remove the original lacquer from the frets at the top of the fretboard. This is a mono guitar with a series / split / tapped selector for the bridge Multiflux pickup. The neck pickup is a Biflux. Through maple neck construction with maple body, 24 frets and a low action, very playable. 100% original and in mint condition, this one has its original “cooker” knobs. Finally the colour, I don’t know what the JB official terminology was but I call it Coffee-Burst or Creme Caramel John Birch J1 Burgundy Burst Great condition for a 35+ year old, all original with stereo wiring. Biflux bridge pickup and Magnum neck pickup. Through maple neck and maple body. 24 frets and a super-fast low action. This one has all it’s original “cooker” knobs and has the original stereo wiring, you can select mono for playing through one amp, stereo for playing through two amps or out-of phase.
