WW2 BRITISH ARMY JACKET COAT PARA SMOCK DENISON AIRBORNE TROOPS SECOND WORLD WAR TWO CAMO CAMOUFLAGE
British Army paratroops type military camouflage jacket. According to the white label inside it's a Size 7 Smocks Denison (Airborne Troops), about which I know next-to-nothing! Big and baggy, in very good condition. Brass half zip, brass poppers which say 'Newey' on them. Four front pockets, press stud flap at the back which fastens at the front, elasticated khaki cuffs, metal vent holes under the arms. Camo cloth it's made from looks hand-dyed to me and of an older canvas type, rather than modern close-weave cotton, but I'm no expert. Collar is lined in a rougher khaki material. Has a hole in the inside collar where the stitching's come undone, has a wear hole in one cuff and some fraying to the cuff edges. Other than that I see no wear or damage. Good for the militaria collector, for re-enactment or general outdoor wear, hunting, shooting, fishing, etc. Probably not very good for jumping out of planes! Not something I will ever use, but quite sought after as I understand it, so better to go to someone who will, I think. Happy to take paypal or non-online payment, but buyer covers the fees if using the former. Estimate p&p on this at about Β£6.50, it's bulky and heavy. Ad ID: Delivery Services Consumer Credit
