Joan Miró - Theatre of Dreams: Mit naiv wirkenden, symbolhaften Bildern prägte Joan Miró eine neue Kunstsprache im 20. Jahrhundert. Aufgewachsen in Barcelona zog es den Maler, Grafiker und Bildhauer nach Paris. Dort entwickelte er unter dem Einfluss der Surrealisten seinen einzigartigen Stil und poetische Bildsprache, in dem sich katalanische Volkskunst und Fantasieelemente vereinen. Robin Lough hat den 85jährigen Miró bei Theaterproben und in dessen mallorquinischen Studio aufgesucht. Dabei traf er einen außergewöhnlich kreativen und diszipliniert arbeitenden Künstler, der mit seinen visionären Bildern wegweisend für den abstrakten Expressionismus war.
