Fender JA90 'Jim Adkins' Signature Telecaster Guitar – Natural - Mint

The JA90 is essentially a bit of a unique and beautiful hybrid between a standard fender tele and a Gibson - with some very 'Gibson-esque' touches like the bridge and the huge sounding Seymour and Duncan pickups P90 pickups. Through a decent amp, this guitar sounds genuinely 'huge' - and will compete with much higher end guitars (I know this as I sold a £ Les Paul Standard recently as I couldn't justify keeping it as the JA90 sounded just as good to my ears!) It's had a professional set-up, and plays absolutely beautifully - the condition is absolutely immaculate and could be mistaken for new was it not for some barely visible playing marks on the scratchplate. It is genuinely stunning to look at thanks to the lovely visible wood grain. Read the reviews online for more info, and you will see how much these guitars are loved! Fender Telecaster: Fender USA American Vintage Hot Rod Telecaster,

For sale is this Fender USA American Vintage Hot Rod Telecaster, made in . These are no longer available to buy and are becoming more sought after. Cost c. £ new The guitar is in excellent condition, with only a couple of small marks on the body as shown in the photos. All original, except the stock Seymour Duncan Gibson Firebird type mini-humbucker neck pickup was removed by a previous owner and a high spec. Gibson Burstbucker installed. This replacement Gibson pickup alone is worth c.£100. The original mini-humbucker is also provided, it's in the case. Comes complete with original hard case in almost unmarked condition, plus all hangtags, key for case etc. that originally came with the guitar. This guitar has a fantastic, quite large (but not full baseball bat) neck, and the frets are in excellent shape with hardly any wear. All switches & pots function correctly with no buzzes or scratches. Plays beautifully, quite powerful gutsy vintage tone from both pickups, which are quite hot. The current neck humbucker blends beautifully with the bridge pickup in the middle position, and both pickups sound great pon their own. Has had a recent pro-setup with 10s, and is solid as a rock. Feel free to try it out, my amp is a Laney VC15 small valve amp, or bring your own.
