This has been taken off but does not affect use. It can be powered by 4 Batteries (not included) Or by a 6volt power supply (included) The power is used for illumination of prints that are held in the unit. Slide and movies will require a slide or cine-projector to illuminate them. The set up is straightforward. Images are projected onto a glass screen by your projector and the images are reflected through a diffusion screen and lens to be recorded by your digital camera. You will need to experiment with camera alignments and distances etc to get the best results. Also, the lens may need a clean.
