A lovely writing bureau/ desk with full working drop down mechanism and 3 drawers for storage, the whole unit has been hand painted in Annie Sloan Duck Egg Blue. The drawers have been lined in a gorgeous duck egg and pink colour wallpaper with a vintage bookcase design on, the drawer handles have been replaced. The drop down mechanism is in full working order and I have managed to retain the original material on the desk which is a brown leather type looking material. I have finished off with two coats of Annie Sloan clear wax. It's an absolutely gorgeous piece and will add character to any home. A refurbished / up-cycled writing bureau / computer desk. Painted with a Zinsser undercoat & two coats of white chalk paint, giving it a textured look. Sealed with two layers of Briwax which protects and gives it a nice sheen. The outside has been painted with chalk paint but the insides have been left as they were, giving a nice contrast. there is the odd imperfection but its got character and would look attractive in any home.
