This is an original Vienna style Classic solid American oak sofa bed from Futon that seats 3-4 people comfortably, and converts to a very comfortable standard double bed in three seconds. The Futon is Ultimate Futon type ideal for heavy every day use and comfortable sitting and sleeping. Comes with Aldburgh cocoa machine washable cover and Aldburgh cocoa large back cushions x3 (the covers are also machine washable). We got it May-June (Price £). Only minor wear but nothing significant. Our experience is that a quick machine wash of the covers makes the set look as good as new. A detachable tea time table in Oak that fits onto the arms allowing for your gadgets and cups is also available with one of sofa beds at no extra charge. Futon Company 3 seater Futon in fantastic condition. So, so, so, so comfy! It makes a great bed but is also a good sofa. This is a really substantial sofa bed. It has a strong metal frame with wooden slats which I tried to show in photo 4. The mattress is very thick and comfy, buttoned, and attaches to the frame with strong ties. It is in excellent condition with no stains or age showing. It is so easy to fold out into a good sized double bed and simple to put away. The cover is made of a thick washable linen material and is oatmeal in colour. There are 3 good cushions as the photo shows. It is a completely different kettle of fish from a foam filled IKEA sofa bed. These things cost £ on the Futon Company website. It is heavy to move. We are selling as we no longer have space for it.
