s Fender HM Strat, including case
The Fender HM Strat was produced from until , as Fender's answer to Superstrats produced by manufacturers such as Jackson and Ibanez. This guitar was made at the Fuji-gen Plant (for Fender Japan), Japan in ; Production Number . I have two HM Fender Strats, and am only selling this to fund a purchase. IMHO the Fender HM Strat is the one of the most underrated Strats that Fender has produced. If you play rock and want something which isn’t too pointy with a whammy bar, and which doesn’t cost a mint then I recommend you try one of these. The fact that they are being seen as “vintage” on account of their age (again) IMHO only adds to their appeal. This guitar has some signs of wear and tear as you might expect of a guitar of this age, and has been retouched in black, but plays perfectly and (yet again) IMHO its scars make it even better. Spec: Fender logo in the headstock, 24 jumbo frets (maple neck with maple fingerboard and with one of the four neck "bolts" (screws) off-set at the bottom of the neck to allow a more comfortable "heel" area for playing in the upper registers and a lighter basswood body. 17” Fingerboard radius. The scale length is an even 25 inches (635 mm), rather than the normal Strat 25.5 inches (648 mm).
