J. A. Barnsby saddle, I think this is a dressage saddle but I'm not really too sure, looks fairly old and could do with some leather feed as it's a bit stiff, slight wear to seams in a couple of places. Girth straps all good and I will include a Girth strap in the sale. This is a nice looking old saddle from a well respected maker, for use or perhaps decoration? We have owned this saddle for two years and it has been used for jumping, it is a beautiful saddle to ride in.  However, this saddle does not fit our new young horse we have just bought. Small 'wear and tear' mark on the front of the saddle, which is 5mm long, which does not effect the working of the saddle. Small 'wear and tear' mark on the front of the saddle, which is 5mm long, which does not effect the working of the saddle and as you will see from photo twelve there is  superficial wear on the flap. It measures 7.5 inches from D to D - top D-rings (see photos to see where the D-rings are on this particular saddle).Unknown age and well used. There is a superficial scratch that can be seen in photo taken from above. Selling as does not fit my horse.
