Hi. I have a 17.hh Irish draught x sports horse. The reason me selling him is due to me having bad health issues I need something smaller, he needs an experienced rider on his back, he does kick out when girthing up with his right back leg. He does buck with excitement nothing to be nasty. He's got 3 lovely paces he would excel in dressage with a push, he goes hunting, fun rides, beach rides, he's good at jumping, never fails to come back with no ribbons he's always got one to always please you, however he is a very demanding horse and is very stubborn. He will go out on his own but will sometimes pull a fuss, he's perfect in company. This is a very sad sale as he's too big for me! He's just had a new set of shoes on, he's up to date with vaccinations. He's only 8 so he's very young and needs a lot more done with him as I don't have the time for him. Please NO NOVICE RIDERS!! 17h bay Irish draught sports horse mate she is 6 yo she needs a lot off work really we bought her about 2 years ago as a project we had her upto the stage we could get her all tacked up and ridden in paddock on lead but due to family comitments this was as far we got so she has done nothing for about 18 months. I’m looking for a specific type of horse to buy, I am a massive lover of Duns and Buckskins but specifically the heavier/Cobish types are my favourite and was wondering if anyone could assist in someway whether you know someone who is selling one or are selling one yourself. I'm looking for a 5* forever home for my beautiful mare, due to no fault of her own. A sudden change within the family and my commitments to study as a vet have led to this sad sale. Arkle Lola is a 15.2h, 7 year old, ISHxApalloosa. She is not a novice horse, although she has no vices when in the stable she can be a difficult ride as she has not been properly schooled. Lola is a fantastic and keen jumper, although requires a lot of encouragement when conquering new things, she will hack out alone but does prefer company. I have never experienced problems with her in traffic although she occasionally spooks at bikes. She is perfect around children, plus can be shod, groomed, lunged, turned out and have her mane pulled with ease and no negative response. Her farrier, vet (has both flu and tetanus vaccines), worming and dentist are all up to date. She has no health problems. Lola is ideal for someone wanting a challenge, looking for a hunter type horse who is willing to give her time and patience in order to allow her to reach her full potential.
