iPhone 6 - iCloud Locked - For parts not working - Please

This is an iCloud locked iPhone 6. My son bought this and they said it was locked to Vodaphone. I cant verify this as its icloud locked and cant be cleared but it has a Vodafone sim in it so I'll assume that's the case. Apparently it was originally lost and the insurance sent a new phone. It was then found a few months later but when calling the insurance company they apparently simply said to 'keep it and use it for spare parts'. I assume therefore it has been locked as a lost phone, cant be unlocked and it can only be used or stripped for spare parts and you're buying it as such. Good screen and other parts etc. I've listed it with a box, charger and standard earphones as shown in the photo. No cracks on screen, good condition with a few corner scratches on the edges that I've tried to show in the photos.
