The carrier is O2 & it has a new O2 sim in (not activated) I have checked with O2-UK customer services today and spoke with Manisha. She confirmed that the phone IMEI is NOT blocked and if there is an O2 sim in, it should be okay however, its not. Don't know whats wrong with it as i'm not tech savvy. If you know what you're doing, you could end up sorting it out and getting yourself a very expensive phone for next to nothing. So just to clarify what you are buying. You are buying an iPhone 4 8GB that is in perfect condition and 99% working order. The only problem with the phone is at present, because of the no service problem, you cannot make or receive calls or txts ergo, you are buying a very expensive ipod touch!
