Gledhill-Brook Time Recorder (#)
OFFERS INVITED for this Gledhill-Brook Time Recorder. The internal clock and time recorder mechanisms appear to be in great condition with a covering of very light grease protecting all metal work. The cabinet is untouched authentic condition following decades of workshop use. There are numerous surface pin holes on the door frame where works notices have been pinned. I have not attempted to clean or restore any parts of the unit so the owner can choose to keep as-is, partially or fully restore. The clock face has Roman numerals and a brass surround. The piece carries the number on a brass plate just below the clock face and also the top of the door frame. Also, some tiny hand engraved lettering X1 N Spring (?) has been made the top left hand brass plate of the clock mechanism. I assume this is the date and name of the clockmaker who built this unit, as the date corresponds to serial number/date of manufacture tables on the Internet. There are two original door key and one winder key. The original clips from time cards are thrown in for free. Many of these are in a small drawer underneath the unit. Overall dimensions are approx MM tall, 390 MM wide and 165 MM deep for the main cabinet. I am inviting offers in keeping with the age of the unit. Pick up from Thorne, South Yorkshire.
