Unfortunately I am having to sell my male Indian ringneck. He is 3 year old and not hand tame. When I first got him he was petrified and sat in the corner of his cage on the floor, panting and hissing if we went near the cage. Now I have managed to get him confident enough to let us stand near the cage and put my hand in to feed him, but he still won't allow us to touch him. I have spoken to some ppl about this who advised that he is not suitable as a pet and would be happier in an aviary with other parakeets - especially female ones! I got a new cage a 2 month ago which cost £100. I am asking for £150 but can negotiate price if I know he is going to the best home possible. I am recovering from cancer and am still poorly. I bought him when I was first diagnosed, so this is very hard to let him go. Ad ID:

I sadly have to sell my beloved Indian Ringneck as we are relocating. Pumpkin is unsexed but when it turns 3 if he is a boy you will know as he will have a black ring around his neck. But it does not squawk much so I think she is a girl. She/he is freindly, cute and a great pet. It is not tame yet as She/he is just a baby, but baby's are very easy to tame. She/he steps up on the big wooden perch so it is easy to get in the cage and sometimes if she/he is feeling good he will eat a peanut from your hand. She/he is a great pet and I would like him to go to a good home with a decent sized cage. If you are interested please contact me. And we can drive him to you if you are near Glasgow and surrounding areas for an extra £15 (fuel cost). Read more
