18th Century Naval Cannon in Coventry

For sale, a stunning 3pdr Cast iron Naval Cannon on a contemporary Oak carriage. The barrel was sourced from Chatham Docks, having been backfilled with steelused as a bollard for many years. The front of the barrel has been bored back out to a 13" depth, and hasit's original bore size of just under 3" at the muzzle. The trunnions are a modern replacement, and the carriage has an engraved plaque at the front, with the letters stamped using original stamps from the Woolich aresnal. An amazing piece that's simply oozing with history. Quite the conversation starter for the lounge! £ or best offer. Militaria swaps/PX's welcome.

Very nice example of an early circa European Hunting sword/sabre possibly German. Some age marks to bronze cross guard and some light rust marks on the blade. It has not been cleaned at all but simply given a light coat of oil on the blade. If you require more detailed pictures please just ask.
