For sale is my beautiful 'Ideal' working hunter / show saddle 17.5" Wide Havana I bought this saddle for my mare as I wanted a show saddle, but there are many reports where horses develop bad backs from lack of flocking- therefore this gave me the 'look' without compromising on comfort for my horse. It truly is in beautiful condition. Was bought from Patrick Wilkinson saddles approximately 6 months ago, but my mare has changed shape quite a bit and no longer fits her - I'm gutted! This is an Ideal Working hunter saddle (Photo of buckle guard shows "Working Hunter" in gold writing). 17" seat (as shown in photo), Wide fitting ('W' Stamped on stirrup bar), approximately 9.5" D to D measurement, and this saddle's tree has never been adjusted so is as manufacturer specification of an Ideal wide tree. Flap length approximately 15" from stirrup bar to bottom of flap.  Brown leather, sound tree and good flocking, just missing the left hand side D ring. Gorgeous Ideal GP/event saddle. Black Leather. '' seat '' d-d Medium Wide fit Decent knee rolls and slimline thigh blocks. 3 girth straps each side in good condition. Sound tree, bars and panels - professional panel work as per photos. Lovely leather suppleness and thickness - some small areas of fading to seat and flaps as shown. Small area of cosmetic stitching on right saddle skirt is present underneath stirrup cover but missing on top as per both photos....skirt still fully intact and not separating in any way and this does not impair the use of the saddle - not visible until inspected closely and not visible at all when being ridden in. Usual very minor use related wear to cantle/pommel etc. if desired, purchaser will need to buy new girth guards. Trials welcome - collect from Hereford. Offers invited.
