Lovely Highland & Cob Ideal saddle. 17.5" wide fit. Flat tree so good fit on native types. Straighter cut for showing but still a generous enough knee roll for security. Shows off the shoulder beautifully. In good condition with usual marks from stirrups. Just been stored and had light show ring use and used on a changing shape youngster for a short time. Recent re flock, value and check by master saddler. Has a however a few surface scratches on seat recently as cover left off in tack room so taking this into account for selling price. This saddle is so great it seems to fit anything! Sadly for sale due to my mare retiring. Saddle is a great fit and has been used on 2 show cobs. Looks great on anything with a shorter back but still has a long flap for adult legs. In excellent condition, only been used for showing and had been cleaned and covered after every use. Such soft leather in excellent condition. Usual signs of slight wear around stirrup area but overall perfect condition. Previously found it so hard to find a saddle for my cob that would stay put and not move, however Ideal have got it spot on and I really can't find fault in this saddle. Measurements are: 17" WIDE D ring to D ring: " At gullet opening: 5-7" Has fit 2 different shaped cobs and fits both of them like a glove however they were different shapes. This saddle really is a dream and would recommend it to anyone who has a wider horse that wants something to sit perfectly. Has been checked by saddle fitter and physio. Always get compliments about it! Any questions please don't hesitate to ask:)   Preferably cash on collection-would consider dropping off within 25 miles. Possibly consider a courier service for delivery at an extra charge of £15 which may take up to 3-5 working days

This comfortable saddle has been fitted with FLAIR which reduces the weight, making it lighter on the horse's back. IDEAL is a quality brand, and the black leather is in pretty good condition. Formerly worn by 15.2 cob - hence wide fit! The saddle has a quarter cut-back head, so would suit a horse with little or no withers.
