Simms watts try<strong>instrong>g to get modern, transistorised preamp, so all the control options that offers, like graphic eq, and a <strong>valvestrong> power section for that warmth. K<strong>instrong>d of th<strong>instrong>k this is a bass <strong>headstrong>, 100w is too much for guitar, but guitarists use 100w <strong>headstrong>s all the time, so can consider it either. This has been serviced by SMP Artizan, who I can't l<strong>instrong>k, so guess google them, new caps and such so it is low noise and stable. Peavey Guitar Valve Tube Head Amplifier Custom Flight Case Amp Marshall Mesa Orange

Peavey Guitar <strong>Headstrong> This <strong>headstrong> is <strong>instrong> fantastic work<strong>instrong>g condition. The amp comes with a custom flight case by Castle Cases. If you remove the top of the flight case, the <strong>headstrong> can stay <strong>instrong> the bottom of the flight case with all cables fitt<strong>instrong>g <strong>instrong> the back. Makes it super easy when gigg<strong>instrong>g. Please see photos. I had the <strong>headstrong> modified (by a professional amp maker) to a removable IEC/Kettle Lead, as I found the built <strong>instrong> kettle lead frustrat<strong>instrong>g and it wouldn't fit <strong>instrong> the flight case with the plug trail<strong>instrong>g out of the back. The reason it is at an angle is this is the only way this can be fitted safely. There is the usual small wear and tear to the tolex around the amp, noth<strong>instrong>g serious at all. Currently the amp has the standard grill mod, so you see the tube glow<strong>instrong>g from the front. I can revert is to orig<strong>instrong>al very easily before collection/delivery. I personally thought it looked cooler without. I have the piece of wood featur<strong>instrong>g the Peavey logo which will be supplied to you either way. There is a picture of this <strong>instrong> the photos. The amp also comes with a red trimmed dust cover (see last photo)! Fairly rare Laney, only made for a short period between Klipps and the Pro tube, both fairly legendary. This deserves the status because its a great amp with a much less copied from Marshall circuit. Suspect its a lot more copied from Burman, it sounds loads like by Burman Pro Series ga<strong>instrong> channel, has the cascaded ga<strong>instrong> controls and active mid that make them stand out.
