For sale is an incredible Ibanez RG550 in black, made in the FujiGen factory in , the very first year the RG550 was made. The RG550 has built up a stellar reputation, with one of the best floating tremolos ever produced. The guitar also features Gotoh tuners and original Ibanez V & S pickups. This guitar is all original, from head to toe, and is in excellent condition given its age. There's only one small ding near the edge where the arm contour is. Included with the guitar is the original tremolo arm, original hardcase, all the original allen keys etc, and the original tremolo setup booklet. I'm willing to negotiate a better deal for a cash buyer whom pays upon collection, I'm located in the Bournemouth area, but I am willing to travel to meet you within reason.   ibanez RG550 Custom Steve vai guitar Swirl

Hi, welcome to my auction for this unique one off custom Ibanez RG550 Swirl guitar. The guitar is an early 90's original Japan built RG 550, the body and headstock have then been custom painted in the Steve vai style swirl finish. The pictures do not convey quite how bright the green swirl colour is, the swirl pattern and combination is super cool and the a unique finish. The tone control has been removed from the electrics at some point as its an all out metal guitar. The guitar is in good player condition, usual dings and scratches to the body etc for a played guitar of this age. loads of meat on the frets, pickups or nothing special just the original ones that came with the RG 550. Complete with light weight hard case. Would look great amongst a collection of Jem guitars. Thanks for looking.

Ibanez Roadstar Strat s - genuine MIJ lawsuit guitar.

Ibanez RS240 Roadstar s made in Japan, in fantastic ungigged condition. This is one of the guitars that Ibanez built its reputation on, one of the notorious lawsuit guitars of the s. For those of you that don't know, most USA manufacturers relaxed their quality control and upped their production in the s resulting in a glut of poor quality instruments. A small number of Japanese manufacturers, notably Ibanez and Tokai, started knocking out clone guitars that were actually better than the originals. This is one of them. It's a pretty straightforward Strat copy, two single coils and a himbucker on the bridge. The bridge is a floating spring trem style, and doesn't have the arm, so you'll need to get one or tighten up the springs to stop it moving around. It's reliable and holds its tune when it's strung and set up properly. Closed Fender style tuners, v shaped strapholders, I'll chuck in a set of strings, very quiet when it's plugged in. It's better made and just sits nicer in the hand than current Ibanez, Pacifica, or Squier strats, mostly because it's been in light use for thirty years; if it was matchwood it would have disintegrated by now. It would suit a beginner fine if you hardtailed the trem, or an upgrade for someone who wanted a backup, or someone who fancies a protect changing the bridge and playing with setups.
