Drum Tuition for beginners - Caversham Reading in Reading

Learning to play the drums has been one of the best things I have ever done. As well as being a seriously fun activity its an amazing foundation instrument that helps with any other musical discipline. I have been playing drums for over 13 years both live and in the studio and will for the rest of my life. I have a few students currently learning with me and am ready to take on more. The lessons will cover the basics including stick technique, simple rudiments, basic beats and some critical listening. The lessons will advance to more complex drumming and when students are ready I cover 'introduction to playing with other musicicans', as I am also an accomplished guitarest. Students get a chance to pick their favourite song, learn it in lessons and play it! This is an impaortant part of my teaching programme as playing with other musicians is intergral to becoming a great drummer. Lessons are £20 per fourty minute lesson or £35 for two students at a time. A new pair of sticks and learning journal is given to each student on their second lesson. I look forward to hearing from you!

Hi, I am clearing out some studio gear that I am not using at the moment. I used to use this for my flute live effects set up an it was awwwweeessoooommmmmeeee!!!! This is a solid pedal. It has a few scrapes but works perfectly. It needs a 9v adaptor, and can't be run on batteries. The save function is really cool and so is the reverse section. Hi, I am clearing out some studio gear that I am not using at the moment. I used to use this for my flute live effects set up an it was awwwweeessoooommmmmeeee!!!! This is a solid pedal. It has a few scrapes but works perfectly. It needs a 9v adaptor, and can be run on batteries. I recently had the adaptor fixed in Brighton guitars so it's just been serviced and works fine. This pedel (in my opinion) is WAY WAY WAY better than the new ones with the distortion ect - it's really simple and I love the mix of 3 octaves... Proper drum n bass sine wave styleeee - Im gonna miss it... but there's no point keeping stuff you don't use anymore... It's Taiwan made and late 80s I think. Total beast.
