Hypo Granite (aka Ghost Bloodred) Corn Snake
Hypo Granite het Pied Corn Snake Hatched in June , this is a very beautiful, healthy and strong female corn snake with a calm, tolerant nature. These are sometimes erroneously called ghost bloodred corn snakes. Granites have the diffused and anerythristic genes; the diffused gene dissipates the flank pattern and clears the belly chequers leaving colour bleeds along the edge, and the anerythristic gene prevents the production of the red pigment leaving beautiful silvery and grey-scale tones. The addition of the hypo gene lightens and brightens the colours, leaving a pink undertone and finer lines, with grey-ringed eyes. The parents are both granites het hypo, pied (images on request).
