SAILING DINGHY TEN FOOT LUG SAILER REQUIRING RESTORATION, ALSO TRAILER

This 10 foot simulated clinker fibreglass lug sailing dinghy is requiring considerable restoration, the main hull is OK, the associated woodwork has rotted, but there is enough wood to make patterns, the gunnel rubber is I think intact, the trailer could be resurrected although the ball coupling has rotted off, I have the mast, rudder and sail which maybe OK or used for a pattern, I think its very likely known as a Yellow Wheel, used as a fun accessory to a Broads Hire boat, It will all need to be collected on a trailer/ flatbed. The Alacrity 19 was designed in by Peter Stevenson. It is a relatively beamy weekend/coastal cruiser but at least one has crossed the Atlantic(!) This particular example has had a lot of recent work done and is sailing very nicely. Hull Sound GRP hull with twin keels. Topsides freshly painted with paint left on board for touch ups. Due a coat of anti fouling which is also on board and can be done prior to sale. Deck and cockpit Non slip deck paint. Varnished iroko hand rails and rubbing strakes. Reinforced and sealed stanchions. Large self draining cockpit. Ritchie explorer surface compass. Sampson post and pullpit, stainless pushpit, the seats have been hinged on with good storage underneath. Wooden tiller and rudder which has been dried and reinforced with 2 part epoxy. Rig Bermudan sloop on deck-stepped tabernacle making mast lowering and righting easy for two people. Aluminum mast with varnished pine boom. New monel rivets in mast. Forward lower shrouds added which much improved sailing performance. New gooseneck track. New stainless mainsheet traveller. Navigation lights on mast head. New halyards and jib sheets. Trailer Sailer 14 ft mini yacht on road trailer with electric outboard and battery.

"The Little Blue Boat" needs a new home due to lack of use and time constraints. Very small and cute mini yacht with road trailer, sails, etc including electric outboard and new (used once) leisure battery. This boat was the inspiration for a series of two children's books I wrote based on the Norfolk Broads. Sadly it's time for someone else to have some fun with her. This is a boat trailer which is now surplus to my requirements. It carried my 14 ft boat but might take a bit bigger boat. It is ten feet from the jockey wheel to the axle. It comes with traailer board and winch which is not attached. It has a locking hitch and there is a spare wheel but the tyre would need to be put on it. I used it to tow my 14ft two berth saing boat from Selsey to Glasgow a round trip of about 900 miles. Towed several times after that with no problems. I have just given it a wire brush with a drill and a fresh coat of paint. It is near Glasgow city centre and I could deliver it for free up to ten miles as long as it was all paid for first.
